The Zoppe Italian Family Circusa set up a giant circus tent on the Long Center West Lawn, visible to everyone at Auditorium Shores and the south side of downtown Austin. This was a truly small family circus, something I personally had never seen before. I attended a short rehearsal the morning before the performance.
Old Settlers Music Festival 2013. This is a GREAT festival, so cool and relaxed, with great music. Here Michael Franti, Del McCoury, and Bob Schneider.
This was pretty much my favorite performance this year! These women, mother and daughter, put on a FANTASTIC show which helped me understand Indian dancing MUCH better. It was truly gorgeous and fascinating!

I was so happy to see that I’d shot most all of the contenders for Best Song and Best Album at this year’s Grammy’s during ACL a few months ago. My editors are so smart!
